On the approximately 17.000 m² plot near Santanyí is the construction of a beautiful country house with a pool and pool house. The living and usable area will be about 420 m² on two levels.
The property has on the first floor a spacious living and dining area flooded with light, a large kitchen, a utility room, and a bedroom with an en suite bathroom. The upper floor offers three more bedrooms, each with its bathroom. From one of the bedrooms, you have access to a private terrace. For your information: in May 2020, the government of the island of Mallorca has imposed restrictions on the development of rural plots in new building applications. According to the new legislation, a single-family house may only have a maximum volume of 900 m3 (previously 1.500 m3) and the pool may only have a water surface of 35 m². In addition, the permissible buildable area is reduced to a maximum of 1.5 % (previously between 2 % and 3 %) of the total plot area, and the area built on with structural elements may only be a maximum of 2 % (previously between 3 % and 4 %).
The building project was submitted according to the old legislation and was approved according to it, which means that the old volumes and square meters can still be realized. Construction has already begun. Completion: Spring 2024.

Location
The country house is located in a quiet, rural setting, but still within easy reach of Santanyi. The town is known for its colorful market days and offers a wide range of restaurants, bars and extensive shopping.
A variety of bays and beaches can be reached within a few minutes by car, as well as, for example, the exclusive marina of Cala d'Or or the excellent golf course of Vall d'Or. Only about 30 minutes by car from the international airport you will find the original Mallorca.
